Safeguarding

Safeguarding at St. George's Park is everyone's responsibility

We’re committed to delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits or works at St. George’s Park.

In particular, we have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. This means applying our safeguarding policy and procedures consistently and effectively.

At the foot of this page you’ll find a link to download our safeguarding policy and how to put it into practice. At the end of the policy are also six practical appendices, starting with an editable ‘Safeguarding Referral Form’ for everyone to use as necessary.

The St. George’s Park safeguarding policy reflects the three core elements of The FA’s overall safeguarding strategy:

1. Prevention: Implementing preventative safeguarding measures to help create fun, safe environments;
2. Reporting: Making the reporting of concerns as easy as possible;
3. Investigation and resolution: Ensuring safeguarding concerns are investigated swiftly and thoroughly with relevant statutory agencies and with demonstrable outcomes.

Safeguarding at St. George’s Park reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance and good practice.

Safeguarding is EVERYONE’S responsibility. We must all play our part.
