Mo Marley’s England Women’s U19s will be hoping to bounce back from their opening match of the year as they look ahead to the Euro qualifiers in April.

The Young Lions slipped to a 4-0 defeat by Norway at St. George’s Park on Saturday.

But all eyes are now on Northern Ireland, where, in April, England will face competition from the host nation, Switzerland and Norway for a place in this year’s Euro Finals, which will be staged in Israel in July.

The U19s have an impressive recent record in this competition, winning it in 2009 and finishing runners-up in 2007, 2010 and 2013.

Lucy Bronze, Jordan Nobbs, Toni Duggan, Jade Moore, Gemma Bonner and Demi Stokes were all part of that successful squad in 2009 and they have gone on to earn 83 senior caps between them.

England team v Norway: 1 Sophie Baggaley, 2 Ashleigh Mills (12 Eloise Wilson 70), 3 Rosella Ayane (16 Gabby George 60), 4 Keira Walsh (14 Fran Steele 70), 5 Ellie Stewart (C) (18 Maisie Baker 80), 6 Vyan Sampson (15 Molly Bartrip 60), 7 Sarah Mayling, 8 Jenna Dear, 9 Millie Farrow (19 Mollie Green 60), 10 Katie Zelem (20 Atlanta Primus 70), 11 Carla Humphrey (17 Claudia Walker 60).
