Eniola Aluko's top three World Cup qualifying goals

Thursday 30 Oct 2014
Eniola Aluko scored 13 goals in 10 World Cup qualifiers

No player scored more goals in World Cup qualifying than England’s Eniola Aluko.

The Chelsea striker hit the back of the net 13 times in 10 matches, allowing her to join Scotland’s Jane Ross, Gaetane Thiney from France and Holland’s Vivianne Miedema at the top of the goalscoring charts.

The 27-year-old is currently with the rest of Mark Sampson’s squad at St. George’s Park for an 11-day training camp as they look ahead to next month’s Wembley clash against Germany and the main event in Canada which gets under way in just 218 days.

But she took some time out at the National Football Centre to sit down with FATV and pick out her three favourite goals from World Cup qualifying.

Over 33,000 tickets have already been sold for the Germany match on Sunday 23 November and they are priced £15 for adults and £1 for children.
