Gareth Southgate's England Under-21s squad met up at St. George's Park on Sunday evening, before starting the preparations for their final two Euro qualifiers in Lithuania and Moldova on Monday morning.

The Three Lions squad fly out to Kaunas on Thursday ahead of Friday's first game with Lithuania, so Southgate and his players will be working at the national football centre in Burton until then.

Southgate says he only has one injury concern at the moment

Southgate has a 22-man squad in place for the games and the first morning's work saw a split group, with those players who had featured for their clubs on Sunday having a recovery session using the indoor facilities  whilst the others who played on Saturday, or not at all, were out on the training pitch.

And with the full squad now at St. George's Park and under the eye of the Under-21s' medical team, head coach Southgate only has one injury concern at the moment with Tottenham Hotspur defender reporting with a slight muscle injury.

"We're getting him checked out and assessed today, so we'll see how he progresses," he revealed.

"As always, we won't take any chances and if we don't think that's right we will let him go back to Tottenham.

"Other than that, everything is fine."

After facing Lithuania on Friday evening, the squad then travel to Tiraspol where they will play Moldova on Tuesday 9 September to complete their qualifying fixtures, ahead of next month's play-offs for a spot in the European Championship Finals in Czech Republic in July 2015.
