The England Under-21s squad recover from their game against Portugal

Following their victory over Portugal at Turf Moor on Thursday evening, the England Under-21s squad were back at work using the St. George's Park facilities the following morning.

A brace from Burnley striker Danny Ings on his home ground and another from defender Carl Jenkinson were enough to secure an impressive 3-1 win for the Three Lions, who returned to Burton from Lancashire straight after the game.

And the players who started the match enjoyed a full recovery session in the Football Centre at St. George's under physio Jake Austin, whilst the substitutes and non-playing members joined Gareth Southgate and assistant coach Steve Holland on the training pitch.

With another game coming up for the squad on Monday evening when they face France in Brest, the ability for the body to recover becomes more important as Austin explains in our exclusive behind-the-scenes video.
