England C name 22-man squad for training camp

Paul Fairclough has selected a 22-man group to attend England C’s three-day training camp at St. George’s Park, which starts on Saturday.

With an International Challenge Trophy Group A encounter coming up in Turkey, boss Fairclough will use the weekend to take a look at players.

He'll then finalise his plans for the clash in Istanbul next month.

Ten of the players selected for the camp have previous experience at this level, with both FC Halifax Town and Forest Green Rovers boasting three each.

The group also sees the inclusion of two players from clubs in Conference South - with Concord Rangers goalkeeper Jamie Butler joining Staines Town midfielder Louiezos Theophanous.
