Dele Alli says his second hat-trick for MK Dons was his fave
It may have been the second treble of his fledgling career, but Saturday's hat-trick for MK Dons against Crewe was Dele Alli's favourite.

The England U19 midfielder gave a man of the match performance at Stadium:MK, grabbing an assist as well as three goals in the 6-1 demolition in League One.

Alli claimed the match ball for a second time following last season's hat-trick against Notts County, but hitting one in his home town means the world to the 18-year-old.

“I think promotion is our dream. Simple as that. We’re a very strong team"

“It was nice to get a hat-trick before, my first one, but it was great to get one at stadium:MK," Alli told the Milton Keynes Citizen.

"I want to thank all the players who played a part. This is my favourite one.”

Having signed a new contract on Thursday, Alli was named Young Player of the Month of August on Friday, so Saturday's exploits capped off a fine week for the youngster.

Alli is now up to six goals for the season, one behind top scorer Benik Afobe - and he is hoping that he can continue the form and enjoy a great season with the Dons.

“It’s an important place to me, growing up here and seeing how the club has developed," explained Alli.

“The chairman wants to see the club go forward, and the manager that knows how to develop the team from last season. Hopefully it’ll be a good season for us.”

And he hopes that good season will see a dream achieved.

“I think promotion. Simple as that. We’re a very strong team, and if we can keep working hard, and put things right, anything can happen," he said.

“It’d be a dream come true. Since I signed, it’s all I’ve wanted. This season, I think it’s possible.”
