Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith twisted an ankle in the warm-up and will be replaced by Manchester City's Angus Gunn following England U19s' meeting with Italy in Rotherham on Friday night.

Another Manchester City defender, Shay Facey, has also been withdrawn after damaging a hamstring in the first-half. He has been replaced by Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Dominic Iorfa, son of the Nigeria international striker of the same name.

Liverpool defender Lloyd Jones, who was also taken off during the first half against Canada, has been passed fit to remain with the squad.

Meanwhile Christy Pym and Matty Grimes have made their planned return to Exeter City to continue first-team duties for the League Two club, and will not be replaced.
