Fairclough's side take on Estonia U23s at the Shay in Halifax
England C manager Paul Fairclough has announced a larger-than-normal squad in preparation for the forthcoming International Challenge Trophy Group A fixture with Estonia U23s.

Fairclough has selected a 29-man group for the game, which will be played at the Shay Stadium in Halifax later this month.

The increase in the size of the squad is due to the possibility of FA Cup First Round Proper replays, which are scheduled for the same week as the game.

However, Fairclough was philosophical in his thoughts ahead of the Three Lions’ final ICT game of this year’s competition.

"There is little we can do apart from hope for the right outcomes over the coming weekend," said the former Barnet and Stevenage boss.

"If the results go a certain way then up to ten players may have to be released and replaced.

"I am of the opinion that I have covered all possible eventualities and whichever 16 are involved against Estonia will, as usual, perform to their highest level."

Estonia have also selection issues to concern themselves with, as five of their initial squad are on stand-by to join the full squad ahead of their Euro Qualifiers over the international week. Estonia are of course in the same group as England in the race to France 2016

The squad will be trimmed to 16 after the weekend FA Cup ties.

Admission to the game on Tuesday 18 November is free.
