The England U16s squad for the Montaigu Tournament next month has been named by head coach Kenny Swain.

The Young Lions make the trip to western France for the annual tournament between 15 and 21 April, where they will play a total of four games in six days.

And Swain has called upon an 18-man squad for the trip, which brings the U16s' season to a close after what has been a busy campaign.

Montaigu, France
Group A: France, Canada, Ivory Coast, Turkey
Group B: England, Portugal, Korea Republic, Saudi Arabia

England took part in the annual Victory Shield games in the first half of the season before competing in the Nike Cup in the USA last December.

There were then games against Spain, Denmark and Belgium at St. George’s Park in a new UEFA Development Tournament in February, with Swain making the most of time with his squad and seeing good performances in those matches.

In Montaigu, the Young Lions will get more international experience as they face Saudi Arabia in their first match in Mareuil Sur Lay on Tuesday 15 April, before South Korea are the opponents at the same venue two days later.
