The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder received his first call-up to Roy Hodgson’s senior squad on Thursday, after a bright start to the season with his club and for England Under-21s.
And Spurs team-mate Kane, no stranger to making the move from the U21s to senior duty himself, believes 19-year-old Alli will soon settle into Hodgson’s group.

"Everyone is so welcoming, no-one will give him a hard time and we will work hard," revealed Kane.
"You always wonder what it is like but you soon settle, and he knows St. George's Park from the U21s.
"It will be fine, just a step up in level and training.
"I will probably spend most of my time with him there because we are Spurs and I want to look after him, make sure he settles in all right.
"But he is really excited about it."
It has been a quick rise to prominence for Alli, who only moved to White Hart Lane from his hometown club MK Dons in the summer.

But after impressing Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino during pre-season and then catching the eye of Hodgson with his recent displays in the Premier League, Kane believes the senior call-up is fully warranted.
"I think he has deserved it - he has been outstanding for us this season," added the 22-year-old.
"He has come in and for such a young lad, has settled very well. I am sure he is excited and everyone here is very proud of him. I don't think he can wait to get going.
"I congratulated him when the squad was announced, he was absolutely over the moon."
The England squad meet up at St. George’s Park next week before the penultimate Euro Qualifier against Estonia at Wembley.
