The FA Women's National League was hit with postponements at the weekend

Sunderland maintained their unbeaten start to the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division campaign courtesy of a 3-1 win at Nottingham Forest.

The hosts went ahead through a Precious Hamilton strike but Grace McCatty’s deflected effort in the levelled matters on 15 minutes.

Katie Barker nudged the Black Cats ahead on the half-hour mark before Bridget Galloway secured all three points with 11 minutes remaining.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield put five past Derby County to become the league’s top scorers – and bounce back from last week’s defeat by Forest.
