Enter our Paypal competition to be in with a chance of meeting a Lioness

Our official partner Paypal is looking for three junior Lionesses fans who are keen footballers to take part in a filming opportunity at St George's Park on Wednesday 6 November with a member of the Lionesses squad.

If you know a junior Lionesses Supporters Club member aged between 7-12 years old who plays at grassroots level and would be confident to speak on camera to a member of the current squad, all you need to do is:

  • Email a brief paragraph written by or on behalf of the junior member detailing why they play football and who their favourite Lioness is and why.
  • When emailing, please include the name, Lionesses Supporters Club FAN number of the member and the name and age of the junior member.
  • Submit the details to lionesses@thefa.com by Friday 1 November.

We'd like to hear what inspires them to play football and how watching the Lionesses helps them stay involved in football - either as a fan or as a player. Out of all the entries, three winners will be picked and will win the following.

  • A visit to St George's Park on Wednesday 6 November. Reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed by Paypal providing receipts are submitted.
  • The junior member will meet one member of the Lionesses squad.
  • The junior member will be presented with a souvenir from the day.

Phil Neville is due to announce his squad later this week so we're unable to confirm which Lioness each winner will meet, however we'd like the experience to be a surprise and an experience they'll never forget.

The three winners will be contacted on Friday 1st November after the closing date. They will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian to St George's Park on Wednesday 6 November where they'll participate in filming with Paypal and a member of the team to talk about playing football at a young age and give the junior fan the opportunity to ask a few questions.

Further details will be provided to the winners once they've been selected.
