England head to Kazakhstan for final qualifier with 19-strong squad after withdrawals

Lauren Bruton of Reading has linked up with the Lionesses squad ahead of their trip to Kazakhstan

After securing qualification to the FIFA Women’s World Cup finals with victory over Wales on Friday, head coach Phil Neville has opted to take a reduced squad of 19 to Kazakhstan.

Fran Kirby (Chelsea), Jodie Taylor (Seattle Reign), Ellen White (Birmingham City), Alex Greenwood (Manchester United), Jill Scott (Manchester City) and Melissa Lawley (Manchester City) will all return to their clubs.

Meanwhile, Reading forward Lauren Bruton has been called up to the squad for the Lionesses’ final group match in Pavlodar on Tuesday.
