Perform Better become official supplier of strength and conditioning equipment at SGP

We are pleased to announce that Perform Better Ltd have been selected as the official supplier of strength and conditioning equipment to St. George’s Park. 

Home to all 28 England teams, St. George’s Park also delivers all FA national coach education courses and will now be kitted out with some of the most high-tech equipment in this area.

After an exhaustive selection process, Perform Better were selected ahead of a number of other suppliers due to their vast experience in equipping elite strength and conditioning facilities for professional sports teams and national governing bodies.

Perform Better have previously been selected to supply some of the most prestigious performance facilities in the UK including the Oriam Scottish National Performance Centre in Edinburgh, the Manchester Institute of Performance, Arsenal FC’s new training facility and England Cricket performance facilities in the UK and Spain among many others.

The company have also provided temporary strength and conditioning facilities in the team hotel for the Three Lions squad at Euro 2016 and for the Lionesses team at Euro 2017.

“Their experience gained from extensively working with the top sporting teams and national governing bodies has given them an advantage few hold.

“Our respective teams have worked extremely closely on this project to ensure exact requirements are met. It’s a working relationship which will prove beneficial in our preparations for the 2018 World Cup and beyond.”

With some very specific requirements and designs requested by our performance team in the equipment specifications, the Perform Better technical design team worked closely with us to ensure the exact requirements were met.

This includes six bespoke-designed elite half racks, a bespoke-designed Spider Training Rig, bi-lateral leg presses, leg extension, leg curl, Eleiko Olympic discs and bars, dumbbells and benches, glue ham benches, Keiser functional Trainers, Desmotec isoinertial trainers, Woodway Curve treadmills, Keiser M3 spin bikes, Wattbikes and Concept 2 rowers plus a wide range of functional training equipment.

In addition to the range of equipment, Perform Better will be supplying monitoring and testing equipment to monitor the players, including Gymaware power testing systems, Forcedecks force platforms, Swift timing system, Polar heart rate system and the TeamBuildr database system.

“We have worked closely with the FA performance team over the past few months to ensure the facility and equipment specifically meets their needs.”

The refurbishment programme is due to be completed by April 2018 ready for the men’s senior team’s preparations for the World Cup in Russia in June 2018.
