England v Slovenia still going ahead despite planned tube strike

England need one more win to seal a place at Russia 2018

England’s World Cup qualifier against Slovenia at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Thursday 5 October will still be going ahead irrespective of the planned tube strike.

The FA is committed to helping as many supporters as possible attend the match.

Over the past few days we have been working with Transport for London [TfL] and our transport partner, National Express, to set up a range of transport options to help you get to and from Wembley.

These additional services will remain in place even if the strike is cancelled. These include:

An enhanced coach network to Wembley Stadium from across the UK, courtesy of Official Coach Supplier National Express. For more information and to book visit the National Express website.

In addition, a shuttle service for ticket holders only from Waterloo and King's Cross rail stations will be available. There is a £1 booking fee which will be donated to the Bobby Moore Fund by National Express.

Bookings can be made from midday on Tuesday 3 October. Please visit the National Express Wembley shuttle service website to secure your seat.

TfL will be running more buses to the Stadium. Check out the TfL bus map for a full list of buses travelling to Wembley Stadium.

Additional parking has also been secured – please pre-book via the Wembley Park portal.

If the strike goes ahead and you are no longer able to attend the match, you will automatically be refunded within 28 days.
