Hannah Blundell replaces Danielle Carter in Lionesses squad

Danielle Carter will miss England Women’s match against Sweden on Tuesday [24 January] through injury.

The striker, who has been ruled out with a hamstring problem, will remain with the Lionesses in La Manga.

Chelsea defender Hannah Blundell has been called up in replacement, and joined the team for training on Monday.

England will play Sweden at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia (5pm GMT KO).

The Lionesses will be looking to end their Spanish training camp with a win after losing 1-0 to Norway on Sunday.

Sweden also lost to the Norwegians, in a 2-1 defeat last Thursday.
