The FA is proud to support its official charity partner Breast Cancer Care on World Cancer Day – and you too can play your part.

On 4 February, Breast Cancer Care joins forces with Cancer Research UK, Anthony Nolan and the Movember Foundation to encourage people to show their support with a specially designed Unity Band, and to be a part of the generation that transforms the lives of millions who are affected by cancer.

Breast Cancer Care’s unisex pink Unity Band is available to buy here or in branches of BHS and Dorothy Perkins stores, for a suggested donation of £2.

The FA chief executive Martin Glenn said: "Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with one in eight women diagnosed in their lifetime. With more women facing this disease than ever before, it’s vital that Breast Cancer Care is there to provide them with dedicated care and support.

"The FA is proud to support Breast Cancer Care, and this World Cancer Day we’re urging supporters to buy a band, so that they can help support thousands of women with breast cancer."

And England vice captain Jordan Nobbs, who is a Cancer Research ambassador, added: "On behalf of the England women’s team we are very proud to be supporting World Cancer Day and the four partner charities are doing to battle these diseases.

"We hope as many people as possible get a band and help raise money for such a fantastic cause."

Play your part by simply wearing a Unity Band, and sharing your support with #ADayToUnite – whether you want to celebrate people who have overcome cancer, show solidarity to those going through treatment, remember loved ones or show you care.
