England’s success at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup captured the attention and hearts of the nation.

 

The bronze medal-winning Lionesses spoke of inspiring the next generation and creating a legacy. They certainly did just that – and we are here to foster that legacy.

 

We took over the running of the women’s game in 1993 and with over 2.5 million registered players, football is now the top participation sport for women and girls in England.
