Dyke meets met Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick at Wembley

FA Chairman Greg Dyke has met with the newly-elected President of the Nigerian Football Federation on a courtesy visit to Wembley Stadium.

Amaju Pinnick, who was elected last September, was in London on business and travelled to the national stadium for a private meeting.

The discussions included reference to Mr Pinnick’s appreciation for English football and his desire to foster closer links between the NFF and The FA.

Although there are no plans in the foreseeable future for a senior men’s international between England and Nigeria, it was agreed to keep dialogue open between the countries.

Both men will be present at the FIFA Congress to be held in Zurich at the end of the month.
