Strikes such as his last-gasp winner in the Champions League Final of '99 clearly stand out in the memory, but we tested the former striker on a few of the more obscure elements from his time in England as part of FATV's 'FA Inquiry' series.
Solskjaer is now back in the Premier League after joining Cardiff from Molde in his homeland, and will be in charge for the first time when they face Newcastle United in The FA Cup Third Round on Saturday.
