Two new funds will help increase participation of women and girls in football

The FA is delighted to announce the launch of two new funds to help increase participation of women and girls in football.

The ‘Be Inspired’ fund is a girls’ innovation fund to increase participation amongst 14-25-year-old females and increase the number of active female role models in the game.

Grants of up to £3,000 will be made available to those organisations in England who best meet all the criteria.

Meanwhile, The FA and UEFA are working collaboratively to deliver a unique programme which seeks to drive participation and visibility of Black, Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) women and girls of all ages in football.

This grant programme is designed to galvanise new activities that supports increased participation and involvement within football.

Organisations in England can apply for between £5,000 to £25,000 to deliver a project that best meets the programme criteria for funding.
