Group 3 was something of a two-horse race from the very start, with Czech Republic and Holland both winning all six of the matches against Austria, Moldova and Belarus.
The placings were therefore decided by the matches between the two countries and after the Czechs drew 1-1 in Rotterdam in March, one fancied them to go and take top spot which they did with a 3-1 victory at home seven months later.
