UEFA European Women’s U19 Championship Finals

Stebonheath Park, Llanelli
England’s opening match of the UEFA European Women’s U19 Championship Finals against France has been moved to Stebonheath Park in Llanelli.
The match had originally been scheduled to take place in Carmarthen, but the pitch at Richmond Park is waterlogged.
The last Three Lions team to play at Stebonheath Park were the Men’s U16 team back in 2008 when a Benik Afobe strike handed Kenny Swain’s side all three Victory Shield points against Wales.
That team contained current Under-21 internationals Connor Wickham, Nathaniel Chalobah, Ross Barkley, Jack Robinson and Sam Johnstone.
After France, Mo Marley’s U19s face Wales on Thursday and they round things off against Denmark on Sunday. The top two sides in the group will qualify for the semi-finals – and also next year’s U20 World Cup.
Marley led the U19s to European glory in Belarus in 2009.
