England beat Hungary 3-0 to keep them in with a shout of making Euro Finals
England kept alive their hopes of qualifying for the European Women’s U19 Championship Finals with a comfortable 3-0 win over Hungary.
Mo Marley’s side came into the game on the back of an agonising 5-4 defeat to Serbia on Thursday but it took just ten minutes to shake off the effects of that loss when captain Nikita Parris fired them into an early lead.
Jess Sigsworth doubled the advantage on 36 minutes and Katie Zelem secured the win late on.
The Young Lionesses must now beat current group leaders, and host nation, Norway on Tuesday to have any hope of qualifying for Wales 2013.
