Line-up complete for UEFA Women's U17 Championship Finals
The eight-team line-up for the UEFA Women's U17 Championship Finals has been confirmed.
Best runners-up Portugal will join hosts England, Spain, Austria, France, Scotland, Germany and Italy in next month's European tournament.
And the finalists will all learn who they'll face in the group stage when the draw takes place at Burton Town Hall on Thursday 24 October. Former England players Faye White and Sue Smith will take care of proceedings.
The number of teams competing in the Finals has doubled this year and the eight nations will be divided into two groups.
Matches will be played in Telford, Hinckley, Chesterfield and Burton-upon-Trent and will get under way on 26 November.
The top two sides in each section will progress to the semi-finals with the winning sides coming together for the Final at Chesterfield on 8 December. That match, as well as one of the semi-finals, will be shown live on Eurosport.
As well as the trophy, there is also a prize on offer for the best three teams. They will advance to the 2014 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica next spring.
Tickets for the UEFA Women's U17s Finals are currently on sale. For the group stage and semi-finals tickets are priced at £3 for adults and £1.50 for juniors. The Final is £5 for adults and £2.50 for juniors.
