Jill Scott told FATV that her team-mates can't wait for the Euros to begin
Jill Scott spoke to FATV after England enjoyed their first training session in Linköping, the city where they will play all three group games at Euro 2013.
Following the 4-1 defeat to Sweden on Thursday, the Three Lions travelled over 130 miles east from Uddevalla to move into their new base.
Their opening game is against Spain on Friday and Scott believes that tournament fever is now starting to set in.
She said: “It’s great to be here.
“The girls feel that it’s time to prepare for the tournament. It’s nice to get to your base, settle in to where you’re staying and get used to your training facilities, which have been brilliant.
“[UEFA have] put in about two years of work now, so I think the girls are just excited and definitely starting to feel like the Euros are very close.”
