England forward Jess Clarke chats to FATV as Euro preparations continue
Jess Clarke says England will be ready for action on Friday when they meet Spain in their Euro 2013 opener.
Head Coach Hope Powell and her squad have been putting the finishing touches to their preparations in Linkoping this week ahead of the match.
And after a day of rest for the squad on Monday, the Lincoln Ladies forward spoke to FATV following Tuesday morning’s training session.
Clarke said: "We're working on the plans for the game with Spain and just refreshing on a few things.
"It's all coming together.”
The Lionesses have had two testing games in the build-up to the Euros, drawing with World Champions Japan in Burton before facing host nation Sweden last week.
That game ended in defeat for England, but Clarke believes there were plenty of positive aspects to take from the match into Friday’s clash.
She added: “The girls have got experience of playing against Spain.
"We know it's going to be a tough game but we're feeling positive going into the game.”
