England Women's interim Head Coach Brent Hills has been pleased with the work put in by his squad this week, as they prepare for Saturday's World Cup opener against Belarus.
The Lionesses start their qualifying campaign on the south coast and Hills has been working with his squad this week as the road to Canada 2015 begins at the Goldsands Stadium in Bournemouth.
And he's been impressed by the way in which the players have worked at their training base in Christchurch, with a firm eye on their first game with Belarus and then next Thursday's follow-up against Turkey in Portsmouth.
Hills told TheFA.com: "It's gone very well so far, the players have worked extremely hard, their work ethic has been great and training's been good.
"We have an expectancy, but not too many nerves as we want to go and show our best, so it's an exciting time.
"Many of the squad have been to a World Cup before and know what a great experience it is, so we want to get to the next one."
