England's Women demonstrate how to train for one-on-one situations
Attacking and defending in one v one situations has long been a part of a footballers’ training regime.
This was certainly the case for the England Women’s team as they prepared to take on Croatia in a crucial Euro 2013 qualifier earlier this year.
Hope Powell’s side stayed and trained at St. George’s Park in September and two goals were set up in close proximity, to test the players’ powers of recovery following an attack.
