Stuart Pearce will give Tottenham Hotspur defended Kyle Walker his first start for the Under-21s against Greece tonight.
The Three Lions meet Greece at Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium knowing a win will send them top of Euro 2011 qualifying Group Nine.
Lee Cattermole and Jack Rodwell both return to the midfield after missing the last outings against Portugal and Lithuania in November, while captain Micah Richards partners Chris Smalling in the centre of defence for the third game running.
England will also wear black armbands in memory of Macclesfield Town manager Keith Alexander who died last night.
The match will provide a reunion for Stuart Pearce with new Greece coach George Georgiadis, who took the reins in December. Pearce and Giorgiadis spent a year together as players at Newcastle United in the late '90s.
Georgiadis, who made 61 international appearances for Greece during an eleven year spell and was part of the European Champions’ squad of 2004, can count the Magpies as one of a list of illustrious clubs he’s represented. The 37-year-old won the Greek Football of the Year title in 1995, while at Panathinaikos and has also played for Olympiacos, Iraklis Thessaloniki and PAOK.
