With snow seemingly covering the country, in Sussex where the Young Lions were training, it was more like sleet and made for a slippery session, especially for the keepers Jack Butland and Jason Steele.
Pearce and coaches Brian Eastick and Alan Cork - covering for Steve Wigley who is away with his club Fulham - put the players through their paces at Ardingley College.
While the former England left-back worked with the defenders, Cork, who won The FA Cup with Wimbledon in 1988, took the forwards for some crossing and shooting practices.
There were some fine saves and goals, but the highlight was Jonjo Shelvey's volley that found the top corner leaving Butland with little chance.
Watch the best bits from the session in the FATV players below, including Shelvey's screamer and a series of top saves from Butland.
Tickets for the game are priced at just £5 for kids and £10 for adults. Family tickets are also available at the price of £20 family ticket (2 adults, 2 children), while Charter Standard clubs and Groups also receive discounts.
