See how England Under-21s tackled their recovery session after Moldova game
With two Euro qualifying games in the space of just a few days for England Under-21s, the importance of their recovery between matches cannot be under-estimated.
After Thursday’s victory over Moldova at the Madejski Stadium, the squad headed back to St. George’s Park to turn their attentions to Monday’s game with Finland.
And with Saturday being a day of travel for the squad, the work done on Friday with the players comes into added significance.
For the starting line-up from Thursday, there was a full recovery session scheduled by Exercise Scientist John Aiga and the medical staff.
That saw them in the gym for a warm-up on the bikes, some light stetches and Yoga and finally heading to the hydrotherapy pool.
Meanwhile, the non-playing squad members were out on the Elite pitch at St. George’s Park for a light session after their late night arrival back in Burton.
FATV were with the squad on Friday to see the recovery session in full, so watch in the video player below or through the icon to the right.
