says the England Under-21 squad focus is now firmly on Saturday’s game with Norway.
The Young Lions suffered a reverse against Italy
in their opening group match of the Euro Finals on Wednesday.
And Head Coach Stuart Pearce left his charges in no doubt
that they need to improve against Norway.
Chelsea starlet Chalobah admitted: “The manager is right and he’s always going to be honest with us.
“If he says the performance wasn’t good enough, then it wasn’t good enough. But we know that within ourselves.
“Everyone was disappointed as we haven’t tasted defeat for a while, but the mood in the camp has been good, the boys have reacted well.
“We’re looking to get our heads up and go into the Norway game and get the win.
“We’re just keeping our heads up for the next game.”
Chalobah made an impression in the first game after being introduced as a second-half substitute.
And with Tom Ince
and Danny Rose
back from suspension for the Norway clash, along with the possible return to fitness of Wilf Zaha
, there is likely to be changes to the line-up which started against Italy.
He added: “We have to now go into the game positive and we can’t think about the last game we’ve played.
“We have to go in there and get our heads up and give everything we’ve got.
“There are fantastic players, game-changers in the team.
“With the likes of Incey and Rosey coming back, we’ve got a bit more security and also force going forward. Also Wilf is hopefully going to be fit as well.
“We have the team coming back together and it’s important that we stick together as a team and focus on the task ahead.”
