Watch action from England Under-21s' first training session in Italy ahead of Euro 2013
England Under-21s were welcomed to their Euro 2013 training base on Monday as they enjoyed their first session in Israel.
All 23-players in Stuart Pearce's squad took part as the sun was beating down on the Maccabi Netanya training ground.
The pitch is almost in the shadow of the Netanya Stadium, which hosts some of the games in the Finals, and the young Lions looked sharp with their opening game just two days away.
After the warm-up, Wilf Zaha moved off to work on his own after only meeting up with the squad on Saturday following his exploits in the Championship play-off Final last week.
Speaking to the press afterwards
, Pearce was hopeful the recent Manchester United recruit will be ready for the meeting with Italy in Tel Aviv.
Former England defender Phil Neville, who is part of Pearce's backroom staff for the tournament, was also involved after his arrival in Israel on Sunday, shortly before the squad.
And the goals were flying in during the shooting practice, but goalkeepers Jack Butland, Jason Steele and Declan Rudd didn't let the outfield players have it all their way, making a number of very good stops.
As usual, FATV were on hand to capture some of the best moments and you can watch the action in the media player below. You can also scroll through our gallery of images at the top of the page.
