England U20s defender Luke Garbutt signs new contract with Everton
England U20s defender Luke Garbutt has signed a new contract with Everton ahead of the new season.
The 20-year-old has just returned to Goodison Park from Turkey after featuring for the Three Lions in the U20 World Cup, where he played in the final game against Egypt.
And he has now penned a new two-year deal with the Toffees to keep him at the club until the summer of 2015.
Garbutt has been a regular with England's development teams over the years after making his debut for the U16s in 2007.
He was part of John Peacock's U17 squad who became European Champions in 2010 and featured for the U19s last summer as they reached the Euro semi-final.
The former Leeds United left-back was a late call-up into Peter Taylor's World Cup squad to replace the injured Sam Byram.
