England U17s got their Nordic campaign off to a winning start on Monday afternoon, with a single goal victory over Faroe Islands.
A first-half goal from Denzeil Boadu proved to be the difference between the nations, with the Manchester City forward scoring in the 35th minute.
The Young Lions are in Norway for five days for this annual tournament, during which they will play a total four games under Kenny Swain.
England are next in action on Tuesday afternoon when they face Finland.
