England's Donna Cross has agreed terms with Stoke City Ladies FC for next season.
England Deaf international player Donna Cross has agreed terms and conditions with Stoke City Ladies FC for next season.
Stoke City Ladies FC play in the West Midlands Premier Division and are fighting for promotion. Mick Barber, the club's new manager said: “One signing that we are very much delighted with is Donna Cross.
"Donna will have plenty to offer us and we are pleased to be signing an international who can surely only strengthen the squad.”
Donna started playing football at the age of seven and at the age of 15 she joined Leeds Deaf Ladies before playing in Belfast for six months.
Mick added that Donna is a very exciting player to watch and got selected last year for the England Ladies Deaf Squad. " We will endeavour to support her progress within football and most certainly look forward to working with her when she is back from international duties at the end of July from Greece.”
