England skipper notches goal number 99 for Liverpool and Ings scores again for Burnley
England captain Steven Gerrard scored his 99th Premier League goal for Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds midfielder scored the third goal from the penalty spot in a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Striker Daniel Sturridge had already got himself on the scoresheet with his eighth of the season, adding to Luis Suarez’s opener. Raheem Sterling also played.
Joe Hart and James Milner helped Manchester City defeat Everton 3-1 in the lunchtime kick-off at the Etihad. Three Lion team-mates Leighton Baines and Ross Barkley played the full 90 minutes for Everton.
