England and Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard auctioning 630 shirts for testimonial
England and Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is to be honoured for his service at Anfield this weekend with a testimonial.
The 33-year-old midfielder will lead out his team against Olympiacos after 15 years in the Reds first team.
During his time at Anfield, Gerrard has won two FA Cups, the Champions League, the UEFA Cup and three League Cups.
And last season saw Gerrard collect his 100th England cap, when he captained the Three Lions against Sweden in November.
He was also named as senior men's player of the year at the inaugural England Awards Night at St. George's Park earlier this year.
To mark the testimonial, the Steven Gerrard Foundation is auctioning 630 commemorative Liverpool shirts to mark each of his appearances for the Reds, to raise money for charity.
