FA Cup winner James McCarthy looks set for a return to Wembley at the end of the month as part of the Republic of Ireland squad to face England.
22-year-old midfielder McCarthy, who helped Wigan Athletic beat Manchester City 1-0 in The FA Cup Final
on Saturday, has been named in Giovanni Trapattoni's provisional 28-man squad for the game under the arch on 29 May.
The Ireland manager has also called in record goalscorer Robbie Keane, who missed the last three LA Galaxy games due to injury, while there is a whole host of other faces well-known to England fans.
Sunderland trio Keiren Westwood, John O'Shea and James McClean are joined on the list by West Bromwich Albion's Shane Long, Norwich City pair Anthony Pilkington and Wes Hoolahan, Everton's Seamus Coleman and Spartak Moscow star Aiden McGeady.
While Roy Hodgson's men take on Brazil in Rio shorlty after their game with the Irish, Trapattoni's side meet Georgia in a friendly in Dublin, Faroe Islands in a World Cup qualifier and then a game with Spain in New York on 11 June.
"We must consider the positives from our games against Sweden and Austria when preparing for these fixtures," the Italian said when announcing his squad on Monday. "We produced two strong performances, and the players have proven that they are working very well together.
" I am very happy to have the squad together for these games. Firstly to prepare for the Faroe Islands World Cup Qualifier, and then for the challenges we have ahead of us in September."
He continued: "This trip creates the chance to work with the players for a longer period than usual in order to bond and plan for the remainder of our FIFA World Cup Qualifier games.
"These matches will provide me with the opportunity to experiment with different players and tactics. I am looking forward to assembling the squad in London."
