Kenny Miller can’t wait to line up for the Tartan Army against England
Scotland striker Kenny Miller says it will be “a dream” for him to play against England at Wembley in August.
The veteran Vancouver Whitecaps striker has been named in Gordon Strachan’s squad, and he received special permission from his club to play in the eagerly anticipated match despite it being in the middle of the MLS season.
Miller told the Daily Record: “That’s the stuff dreams are made of. To go to Wembley and manage to come away with a goal or a winning goal would be a dream come true.
“It’s not easy when you’re making that length of flight. It’s not ideal. We know that but the chance to play in a game of this size against the Auld Enemy is important.
“It’s a massive game between two close countries and it’s the first chance I’m going to have to play in one of them. I’m delighted.”
