Roy Hodgson's men will face Denmark at Wembley Stadium on 5 March 2014
England will welcome Denmark for their first match of 2014 as Roy Hodgson's men step up their preparations ahead of the World Cup
Following the announcement of the Three Lions' final two matches of 2013 - against Chile and Germany
- The FA have confirmed that the Danes will be the first visitors to Wembley Stadium next year.
The friendly international with Denmark will take place on Wednesday 5 March, as part of the agreement that saw the Three Lions travel to Copenhagen in February 2011.
Goals from Ashley Young and Darren Bent secured a 2-1 victory in the Parken Stadium on that occasion [watch highlights below].
Overall England have the better record of the two sides, with eleven wins from 18 meetings, including a World Cup second round match in Japan eleven years ago.
