Hungary will provide first opposition of 2010-11 season in August.
England v Hungary
8pm, Wednesday 11 August 2010
England's first international of the 2010-11 season will be against Hungary at Wembley on 11 August.
It will be England's 22nd meeting with Hungary and the first since a 3-1 England victory at Old Trafford in 2006, with Steven Gerrard, John Terry and Peter Crouch scoring the goals that day as Sven Goran Eriksson's side warmed up for the World Cup in Germany.
Hungary's last visit to Wembley was in 1996 when England won 3-0, but the most famous meeting was back in 1953 when a Hungary side, known as the Magical Magyars and inspired by Ferenc Puskas, defeated England 6-3 at Wembley to become the first non-British team to defeat England on home soil.
The game comes just over three weeks before the Three Lions host Bulgaria in their opening European Championship qualifier at Wembley on Friday 3 September.
