Frank Lampard continued his exceptional form against Blackburn yesterday. He's our Lion of the weekend.
Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri hailed Frank Lampard as "the best midfield player in the Premiership" after his two goals helped sink Blackburn on Sunday.

"A stunning demonstration of high standards expected at Chelsea" – Daily Mirror
"He passes, tackles and scores goals" – Claudio Ranieri
Frank Lampard took his goals tally into double figures for the season, helping Chelsea to keep their title hopes alive in the process.
After Sunday’s 3-2 win at Blackburn, Claudio Ranieri couldn’t speak highly enough of his midfielder, who now joins Paul Scholes at the top of the charts for Lion of the Season.
"He is the complete player – I would say the best midfield player in the Premiership," declared Ranieri, who makes an exception on team rotation where Lampard is concerned.
Asked if Lampard was the best English midfield player, Ranieri replied: "I think so. I'm very pleased with him. In this league, it's amazing.
"He's a strong midfielder, quality, long passing, good vision, strong in the tackle. Now, I think he has scored 10 goals. That's unbelievable, very, very good."
Lampard is rapidly becoming as important to Chelsea as Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira are to Manchester United and Arsenal. And he is far more prolific in front of goal.
His first at Ewood Park came on the run – finishing a Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink pass with real aplomb.
And before half-time, he put Chelsea 2-1 up with another classy finish, slipping a low shot past Brad Friedel after ghosting into the penalty area yet again.
In fact, Lampard would have claimed a hat-trick without a spectacular save from Friedel but he was happy to leave match-winning duties to Glen Johnson, who scored the Blues' decisive goal after 88 minutes.
