The central defender was picked up by Manchester City from Walsall's youth team and has been a regular for the Sky Blues' academy and reserve teams since then.
His first England call-up came in 2011 when he was selected for the U20 game with France and he won a cap in that game, impressing along the way.
Reece also began to start pushing his way into the City first-team, travelling with the squad to a number of games towards the end of the 2010-11 campaign.
He was then named in Brian Eastick's squad for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Colombia in the summer of 2011.
International football runs in his family, as his grandfather Lawrence was a Nigerian international.
