SESSION: how to use 'play' in your practice

Play is an effective way of engaging and motivating young players during practice sessions.
In this three-part session, former FA youth coach educator, Kalam Mooniaruck, provides an example of how to include playful activity in your practice.
These sessions are currently for reflection purposes only and any current activity taking place must follow government and FA guidelines.
Key objectives
Develop player understanding of:
- how to use effective practice design to encourage playful activity
- how to use individual and team challenges to encourage creativity and teamwork.
