UEFA Pro Licence graduates celebrate their achievements
Some of the best and brightest coaches from across the country gathered at Windsor on Monday to celebrate their achievements, as the class of 2020 and 2021 graduated from The FA Level 5 (UEFA Pro) in Coaching Football. Staff from Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester City and more were celebrating with coaches from all levels of the game.
These coaches join an exclusive club of less than 500 graduates to complete the UEFA Pro Licence with England Football, including the likes of Graham Potter, Emma Hayes, Scott Parker, Sean Dyche, Brendan Rodgers and the England manager Gareth Southgate.
Completing The FA Level 5 (UEFA Pro) in Coaching Football course is not easy, and is certainly a milestone worth celebrating. It’s England Football’s highest football coaching qualification and prepares the next generation of coaches for the pressure and challenges of modern football management in the senior game and academy settings.
Everyone on the course is trained to manage media relations, introduced to working with Technical Directors and guided on how to create high-performance cultures and environments within their clubs. This preparation for life in management gives every graduate the on and off-the-pitch skills necessary to succeed and adapt to life at the very top of the professional game at home or abroad.
It isn’t only coaches from the men’s game who are celebrating. Casey Stoney (Manchester United), Beverley Priestman (Canada) and Rehanne Skinner (Tottenham Hotspur) all graduated from the UEFA Pro Licence on Monday and continue the growing trend of elite coaches from the female game reaching the pinnacle of coaching qualifications in England.
