England aren't down to play in Munich just yet, but their route to the Final - either as Group B winners or Runners-Up - will see Sven's men arrive at the Allianz-Arena.
The impressive stadium, built for the Finals, opened in May 2005 and will stage the opening ceremony of the World Cup and the first match between the hosts and Costa Rica on 9 June.
The smooth facade of the 66,000 capacity stadium is made from translucent, lozenge-shaped cushions and glows in a variety of colours making it a standout venue of futuristic magnitude.
The first Bundesliga goal here was scored by England's Owen Hargreaves in Bayern Munich's 3-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach. But though Owen knows the stadium very well, his Three Lions colleagues will have to wait until the knock0out stages to play here.
As Runners-Up of Group B England will roll into town in the Round of 16, but should we top our group, then a Semi-Final trip to Munich will be on the horizon. as well as those two matches, the Allianz-Arena will also host four games in the Group stage.
