England's record in Kaiserslautern - N/A

The Three Lions have never played in Kaiserslautern and won't be playing there this summer either. Kaiserslautern's Fritz-Walter-Stadion, renamed in 1985 in honour Germany's World Cup winning captain of 1954, is one of four grounds at the World Cup which Sven's men will definitely not be visiting.

The venue, which is home to Bundesliga outfit 1 FC Kaiserslautern, opened in 1920 but went under a series of building works ahead of this summer's Finals including extensions to the West and South stands and reconstruction of the North Stand.

The World Cup opens in Kaiserslautern on 12 June as Australia make their first Finals appearance since 1974. They play against Japan in Group F, while England's Group B opponents Paraguay and Trinidad & Tobago meet in the third of five games here.
